If your Qubii app continually loses connection while backing up, please try some of the troubleshooting tips below to test your Qubii:
Solution #1: Connect your iPhone and disable backup
Connect your iPhone with your Qubii and open the Qubii app. When prompted to begin a backup, select "maybe later" to temporarily disable the backup. Wait for (1) minute without using or moving your iPhone and then see if your Qubii app has disconnected.
If your iPhone is NOT disconnected after a few minutes of not touching your phone, but disconnects when the phone or cable is moved, this means that your charging cable may be defective. Please try a different charging cable and try backing up again.
Plese Note:
🌟Use an Apple genuine or MFi certified charging cable and charger together. (Other products cannot guarantee normal operation.)
🌟Connection with Qubii requires a charging and transferable cable.

If your iPhone is disconnected after a few minutes of not touching your phone or does not connect at all, please move on to Solution #2.
Solution #2: Move and shake charging cable
With the Qubii app opened, hold and shake the connected charging cable to see if the Qubii app shows it is connected or disconnected in the process.
If your iPhone is disconnected while moving your cable, this means that your charging cable may be defective. Please try a different charging cable and try backing up again.
If your iPhone is not disconnected after moving your charging cable or does not connect at all, please move on to Solution #3.
Solution #3: Confirm whether the issue is related to iCloud.
If you are using an iPhone or iPad and experience connection interruptions during iCloud backup:
-
Please try turning off the iCloud backup button once, and then attempt to back up only the data in your device's camera roll to see if the same error occurs. (If the backup of the data in the camera roll is already complete, try taking a few new photos and then attempt the backup again.)
If the backup completes smoothly without any connection interruptions, there may be an issue related to the iCloud backup environment. Please check whether all the necessary conditions for iCloud backup are being met on the official site linked below.

Solution #4:
Press "Begin Backup" and monitor backup
On the Qubii app, initiate a backup and monitor the progress to determine when the Qubii is becoming disconnected. Here are some potential areas where your Qubii may lose connection and some troubleshooting tips to correct this:
Disconnection Occurs on the Same Photo
When performing a backup, the Qubii may disconnect or fail when attempting to back up a specific photo, video or file. For example, the Qubii app may disconnect at phono No. 23 each time you attempt a backup. This means that the file you are trying to back up may be corrupted or damaged. You will need to find which file(s) is causing this error and delete/remove it.
How to Find Corrupt/Damaged File:
- In the Qubii app, go to Settings > Backup Details > check the "latest backup date"
- Return to the iPhone Camera Roll > find the photos from your latest backup date
- Use the photo number (ex. No.xxx) from your backup to determine which image is corrupted/damaged
- Delete 1-5 photos in your Camera Roll around and including this image (Don't worry, the deleted photos will be kept in the trash album and you will be able to restore them afterwards)
- Return to the main menu and tap "Begin Backup" again to see if the issue is fixed
⭐️If the issue persists after trying the above solutions, or disconnection occurs randomly on different photos
it may signify that there is an issue with the microSD card inserted into your Qubii. Please ensure you have backed up the contents of your microSD card to your PC and then reformat the card before attempting another backup.
*Please Note: If reformatting the microSD card still does not work, please try using a different microSD card altogether and attempt another backup. Low quality microSD cards with slow read/write speeds may trigger a disconnect. When an iPhone receives information from the microSD card within 5 seconds, the Qubii app will show as disconnected. The only way to fix this is to use a different high quality, brand name microSD card and start the backup process again.
