Option 1: Replace the Charging Cable or Charger and Retry Backup

Close the Qubii App Completely: Ensure the app is fully closed before proceeding.

Restart Your Phone: Restarting your device helps refresh the system and clear any temporary issues.

Swap Accessories:
- Replace the current charging cable or charger with a new one.
- After replacing the accessories, initiate the automatic backup process again.
⚠️ Important Tips:
Inspect the charging port for any dirt or dust that may interfere with the connection.
Ensure the Lightning cable is clean and free from any debris.
Confirm that the connection is stable.
⭐️ If your phone is still unable to resolve the issue after restarting, we recommend formatting the microSD card before proceeding with the backup.
Option 2: Format the microSD Card and Retry Backup
If the backed-up photos are still on your phone ➤ Steps 1

Format via App
- Click on the "Format microSD card" option that appears in the app.
- Confirm the formatting of the microSD card (will be asked to confirm twice).
- After formatting, please select "Reset Backup Records."
- Initiate the backup process again from the beginning.
💡 If this is a second microSD card, please refer to After format SD cards, reset backup records is required to re-start backup from the beginning again.
Step 2: Format via Computer
After formatting your microSD card, follow these steps and then restore your data back to the card:
- Update the Qubii App.
- Restart your phone before initiating the backup again.
Windows:
- Connect Qubii to your Windows PC.
- Right click on the Qubii folder once it appears or find the Qubii folder in the File Explorer under "This PC".
- Select "Format"
- A new window will appear where you can choose the file system. Select exFAT.
- Done!
Mac:
- Plug Qubii into your Mac.
- Launch Disk Utility, located in Applications > Utilities.
- Locate the drive named "Qubii" from the left-hand side of Disk Utility and click on it.
- Click on the “Erase” tab across the top.
- Done!
*MAKTAR REMINDER: Please remember that formatting a microSD card will permanently delete all the data stored on the card. If there is any previously stored data on the microSD card, please backup your data to a computer before formatting.
After reformatting you should delete previous backup records to reset the Qubii app in order to start completely back up all files again.
