When the Piconizer app encounters an error, it will display the message “Rename Failed”.
To solve this, begin by formatting your Piconizer.
After formatting your Piconizer, you can proceed with the backup.
Prior to formatting, please ensure you’ve made a temporary backup from Piconizer to your computer.
Select the formatting method based on your computer system:
Windows:
- Connect Piconizer to your Windows PC.
- Right-click on the Piconizer folder once it appears or find the Piconizer folder in the File Explorer under "This PC".
- Select "Format"
- A new window will appear where you can choose the file system. Select exFAT.
- Done!
MAC:
- Plug Piconizer into your Mac.
- Launch Disk Utility, located in Applications > Utilities.
- Locate the drive named "Piconizer" from the left-hand side of Disk Utility and click on it.
- Click on the “Erase” tab across the top.
- Done
💡 After formatting, kindly restore the data to Piconizer and reconnect your phone for backup.
