If you have purchased a new microSD card or would like to back up all of your content onto a different microSD card, you can set up your Qubii to create a completely new backup from the beginning.
The Qubii app is designed to keep track of all of your backups so that every time you connect your Qubii, it will only scan for new items to back up. This allows your Qubii to continue backing up from where it left off and avoid creating duplicates of your files.
*Tip: If you would like to use a new microSD card, but do NOT want to create a new backup from the beginning, don't worry! Qubii will pick up where it left off when a new card is inserted.
However, if you would like to back up all of your content from the beginning or would like to create a duplicate copy of your data onto a different microSD card, you can reset your Qubii to allow you to create a new, complete backup. Please follow the steps below to reset your backup records:
- Qubii app > settings > backup details
- Tap “reset backup records”
*Please Note: This procedure will remove all existing backup records stored in the Qubii app and will enable the Qubii app to create a new complete backup of your device.
