If you have just completed a backup, but some photos/videos were not backed up (example: you have 30,000+ photos on your camera roll and Qubii only saved some of them), this issue may be caused by one of the following:
- iCloud photos were not synced properly prior to download, possibly due to insufficient storage.
- Qubii froze while trying to back up corrupted files
If you are an iCloud user, some of your photos and other media files may be stored only in the iCloud without a copy saved on your phone itself. You may not be able to see how many photos are being stored on your iCloud account by looking through your camera roll on your phone. You can check if your photos are still in your iCloud by following the steps below:
- Open the Qubii app and tap the "Settings" icon in the upper-right corner
- Select "Backup Details"
- Here you will see an overview of any incomplete backup items from the iCloud in your camera roll
When backing up photos from iCloud, ensure that the "Backup iCloud" feature in your settings has been enabled. Qubii will then automatically connect with the iCloud and begin syncing the photos to your iPhone or iPad and back them up onto your Qubii. Depending on how much data is stored on your iCloud account and your current internet speed, syncing photos from iCloud may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
